Imserso trips for the 2023-2024 season were scheduled to be marketed within the next few weeks, but they have been paralyzed so it is foreseeable that they will not be carried out for at least three months

The trips of the Imserso (Instituto de Mayores y Servicios Sociales) of this season 2023-2024 are paralyzed. They will not begin to be marketed in the coming weeks as planned and, in fact, could be delayed for up to three months. The decision to suspend the tender as a precautionary measure has been taken by the Central Administrative Court of Contractual Resources (TACRC). The organism, which depends on the Treasury, has admitted the petition of the companies that were excluded from the contest and that were against the awarding of all the trips of the Imserso, the three lots, to the Mallorcan group Ávoris. Therefore, these trips are suspended until the court resolves the appeals of the competitors.

The court had a period of five days after the presentation of the allegations to “resolve on whether or not to proceed with the maintenance of the automatic suspension in the event that this has occurred”. This is according to the resolution of adoption of precautionary measure of the General Secretary of the Court published on the platform of State procurement.

The document says that the analysis of the reasons for the filing of the aforementioned appeals “shows that the damages that could result from the lifting of the suspension are difficult or impossible to repair, so it is appropriate to agree on the maintenance”.
