The Bons Illes Balears 2026 campaign will have a second phase after generating more than €6.53 million in sales at participating shops. In response to the high demand recorded since the campaign began, the Balearic Government will redistribute the shopping vouchers among the businesses that have already used their full allocation, allowing them to continue offering discounts until 31 July.

The measure comes after more than 60% of participating businesses used all their available vouchers. According to the Regional Ministry for Business, Self-Employed Workers and Energy, the campaign has generated €2.70 in purchases for every euro invested in this initiative to support local businesses.

Bons Illes Balears 2026 redistributes the remaining vouchers

The Regional Ministry has decided to launch this second phase so that businesses experiencing the highest demand can continue offering discounts until the end of the campaign.

Of the 189,175 vouchers initially allocated to participating non-food businesses, only 2,458 remain unused. In addition, 743 businesses have already used their entire initial allocation.

The remaining vouchers will be redistributed among businesses that have run out. Each establishment will receive a new allocation according to the island where it is located:

  • Mallorca: 190 vouchers.
  • Menorca: 233 vouchers.
  • Ibiza: 233 vouchers.
  • Formentera: 253 vouchers.

The Balearic Government highlights the impact of the campaign

The Regional Minister for Business, Self-Employed Workers and Energy, Alejandro Sáenz de San Pedro, said: “The figures confirm that the Bons Illes Balears are fully achieving their aim of boosting local businesses and encouraging consumer spending in our shops. We have tripled the budget because we believe in this initiative, and the results show that it is the right approach.”

The minister explained that the redistribution will make it possible to use all the available resources and maintain the momentum in sales during the final weeks of the campaign. “We want to make use of every last euro available and continue generating economic activity throughout the Balearic Islands.”
