Bons Illes Balears 2026

The Bons Illes Balears 2026 will begin on 18 June with a record participation of 1,223 shops across 46 municipalities in the islands. The campaign, promoted by the Govern to encourage purchases in local businesses through direct discounts, will make 380,000 vouchers available, allowing consumers to save up to 60 euros. The discounts may be used until 31 July or until stocks run out.

The vouchers will be valid in establishments in sectors such as fashion, footwear, optics, beauty, jewellery and accessories. As the main new feature of this edition, the campaign is introducing a specific line for food retailers for the first time.

How to use the Bons Illes Balears 2026

Consumers who wish to benefit from the campaign must go to any of the participating establishments and identify themselves with one of the following documents:

  • DNI
  • NIE
  • Passport

The retailer will verify the buyer’s identity and process the vouchers at the time of purchase.

Maximum number of vouchers

Each person may use:

  • Up to three vouchers in commercial establishments.
  • Up to three vouchers in food retailers.

Consumers will be able to benefit from direct discounts of up to 60 euros through these retail vouchers during the initiative’s period of validity. This new edition has a budget of 3.8 million euros from the Conselleria de Empresa, Autònoms i Energia.

Record participation among businesses in the Balearics

The campaign will include 1,223 participating establishments, compared with 1,089 in the previous edition, setting a new record since the launch of this initiative to support local commerce.

Of all the participating businesses, 570 are run by self-employed workers, a figure that represents 46.6% of the total and reflects the importance of this group within the Balearic retail sector.

By sector, fashion and accessories once again lead the list of participating establishments, followed by footwear and leather goods, opticians, beauty and personal care businesses, and jewellery and costume jewellery shops.

The main new feature of this edition is the incorporation of a specific line for food retailers, with 68 participating businesses. These include shops specialising in wine, butchers, greengrocers, bakeries and cake shops.

Mallorca accounts for most participating businesses

The territorial distribution of participating establishments is as follows:

  • Mallorca: 76.7%
  • Menorca: 15.5%
  • Ibiza: 4.8%
  • Formentera: 1%

The municipalities with the highest participation include:

  • Palma
  • Manacor
  • Ciutadella
  • Maó
  • Santanyí
  • Pollença
  • Ibiza

The broad territorial reach ensures that consumers will be able to use the retail vouchers across much of the Balearics.
