The Consell de Mallorca has approved a new edition of Bons Mallorca 2026, a campaign that will allow island residents to receive up to €100 in discounts when purchasing local, artisanal and organic products. The vouchers can be used from 12 November to 12 December at participating shops.

The initiative has a budget of €800,000 and aims to encourage the purchase of locally produced goods. It also seeks to offset rising energy and transport costs faced by businesses as a result of the conflict in the Middle East.

How Bons Mallorca 2026 works

The campaign offers vouchers providing a €20 discount on every purchase of at least €40, including VAT. Each person can use a maximum of five vouchers, saving up to €100, subject to availability.

For example, a €40 purchase qualifies for a €20 discount, meaning the customer only pays the remaining €20.

The main requirements and conditions are:

  • Age: over 16 years old.
  • Residence: registered as a resident in any municipality in Mallorca.
  • Discount: €20 per voucher, with a maximum of five per person.
  • Minimum purchase: €40 for each voucher used.
  • Dates: from 12 November to 12 December 2026, subject to availability.
  • Shops: participating physical retail outlets.

Customers can use all five vouchers in a single purchase or spread them across different shops. The discounts will not apply to online purchases.

How to obtain and use the discount vouchers

One of the distinctive features of Bons Mallorca 2026 is that there is no need to download or obtain the vouchers in advance.

To benefit from the discount, customers simply need to visit a participating shop and present their DNI (Spanish national identity card) when paying. The retailer will check the campaign platform to see whether vouchers are still available for that identity document and apply the discount directly.

Participating shops must clearly display their involvement in the campaign. Customers can also check whether a retailer has vouchers available at www.bonsmallorca.com.

Discounts are subject to availability, and businesses will not be allowed to reserve vouchers for regular customers.

Which products can be purchased with Bons Mallorca?

The campaign is specifically designed to encourage the purchase of locally produced goods from Mallorca, so not every item sold by participating retailers will qualify for a discount.

Eligible products include:

  • Products from Mallorca with a designation of origin (DO) or protected geographical indication (PGI).
  • Products made in Mallorca bearing a local product label.
  • Mallorcan products with organic certification from the Consell Balear de la Producció Agrària Ecològica.
  • Products with integrated production certification.
  • Goods made by artisans holding the accreditations recognised under the scheme.

The vouchers are therefore intended to support both retailers and the island’s producers and artisans.

A campaign to support local shops

The Consell de Mallorca has allocated €800,000 to the scheme with the aim of increasing sales at businesses that sell products made on the island.

The institution hopes to strengthen these businesses in the face of rising energy and transport costs while encouraging consumers to buy Mallorcan products.

The campaign will be carried out in collaboration with the Cambra de Comerç de Mallorca, which will manage retailer participation and the discounts applied to purchases.
