With the exhibition of all kinds of handicrafts, local products from the cooperative pagesa, a fun space for children, book presentations and talks on circular economy, among other activities, the Fira de Pollença is held until Sunday 14, one of the events most important and emblematic of the town.

In this edition, the pollençina event has its own website and social media profiles to spread the word about everything that happens, such as the tribute to María Martorell, one of the pioneer artisans of the fair, which takes place inside the Church of Covento of Sant Domingo.

This year the local festival has a new space called Espai XX / 21. It is a point of dissemination within the whole of the fair outside the Cloister. In the Plaza Mayor, for its part, the business fabric and the delicacies offered by the Cooperativa Pagesa de Pollença is located. Children’s attractions are located on Avenida de Argentina and Calle Cecili Metel.

Miquel Suau, coordinator of the Fira de Pollença, has commented that the objective of Espai XX / 21 is to have a professional projection of the artisan sector with talks on the collaborative model between designers and artisans and on the importance of the circular economy in the world of crafts ”.

Throughout the fair there will also be all kinds of shows, from live music to competitions and workshops.

Toni Font, creator of the poster for the current edition, explained that “the graphic image of the Fira brings light and optimism after everything we have experienced, with an illustration that somehow relates our people through the legs and the environment that we have through the moutains”.
