The atmosphere throughout the four-day event was notably optimistic, with commercial transactions exceeding expectations and a significant presence of visitors with a genuine interest in purchasing, according to numerous exhibiting companies. This trend has reinforced the reputation of the Palma International Boat Show 2025 as a strategic platform for generating business within the nautical sector.

The quality and competitiveness of the exhibitors’ offerings was also highly praised by both professionals and the general public. In fact, several shipyards have already expressed their interest in participating in the next edition, aiming to present new models and vessels as world premières. This confirms the appeal of the event, which is organised by the Regional Development Agency of the Balearic Islands (ADRBalears), under the Ministry of Business, Employment and Energy, together with the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA).

Furthermore, the show had a significant media impact, with more than 350 journalists accredited, most of whom travelled from abroad specifically to cover the event. This international coverage has further reinforced the show’s position as one of the leading nautical showcases in the Mediterranean.

Expansion to the Club de Mar

One of the key achievements of this edition was the expansion of the exhibition area through the addition of the Club de Mar. This new space allowed, for the first time, the inclusion of an exclusive area for “one-off” vessels —custom-made, unique models. The space featured around ten sailing yachts at sea and numerous stands on land, raising the bar in terms of quality and reinforcing the show’s international profile.

Marcial Sánchez Barcáiztegui Award ceremony

Among the most memorable moments of the event was the presentation of the Marcial Sánchez Barcáiztegui Award to Toni Salom, owner of Nautipaints and former president of the Balearic Marine Cluster (BMC). The award was handed over by the Minister of Business, Employment and Energy, Alejandro Sáenz de San Pedro, in recognition of Salom’s leadership and the growth achieved by the cluster under his tenure, expanding from just twenty companies in 2019 to over one hundred member companies today.
