The minimalism of Formentera is accentuated in the  colder season to the delight of those fleeing the overcrowding. The calm and quiet beauty makes Formentera the perfect place to lose yourself and forget about the world.

The Estany Pudent is the largest lake in Formentera and numerous birds make a stopover there, one of the main migratory routes in the world, halfway between Europe and Africa. In total, up to 210 bird species have been counted, which can be observed on the routes on foot and by bicycle that border the Estany Pudent, such as the Es Brolls path.

Autumn and spring are the seasons with the greatest influx of birds, with flamingos as the main protagonists, as well as other species such as storks, black-necked grebes or white jars. This pond is part of Ses Salines natural park and is classified as a wetland of international importance.
