Today’s Consell de Govern has authorised the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) to teach the official degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, starting in the academic year 2024-2025. The teaching of these studies will not begin until the Council of Ministers declares the official nature of the studies and their subsequent registration in the Register of Universities, Centres and Degrees (RUCT).
Thus, the next step, as established today by the Consell de Govern, is to notify this agreement to the University of the Balearic Islands, to the General Conference on University Policy and to publish it in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands.
The Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences is a degree of the University of the Balearic Islands that will be taught in the Faculty of Education. It is a 240-credit degree of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) divided into four courses of 60 ECTS credits each.
