The traditional ‘Fira agrícola i ramadera’ (agricultural and livestock fair) returns to Santa Eugènia

Santa Eugènia Town Council is organising the Fira agrícola i ramadera, from 21st to 23rd April, which this year reaches its 41st edition.

Fira agrícola i ramadera (agricultural and livestock fair) of Santa Eugènia is one of the most established fairs on Mallorca’s trade fair calendar.

The fair will feature a large number of activities for the whole family and an exhibition of agricultural machinery and livestock to learn more about rural Mallorca. Handicrafts made of iron, stone, ceramics and other traditional Mallorcan elements characterise this fair, which will be held in the streets of the town. There will also be activities for children, sporting events…

On Sunday you can enjoy, among many other things, an exhibition of Santa Eugènia sheep, several feathered animals and ‘ca de bestiar’, as well as an exhibition of agricultural machinery and antique vehicles from Santa Eugènia.

The ‘fira’ is also an opportunity to get to know the town, its traditions, life and gastronomy.

18.00 h Local housewives (Josep Balaguer street). Inauguration of the exhibition of macramé and embroidery of the Housewives’ Association.
19.00 h Parish Centre. Inauguration of the exhibition “El Belén en Santa Eugènia” by Margalida Nicolau and Catalina Rullan, with the collaboration of ‘Betlemistes’ of Mallorca. Inauguration of the exhibition “Beyond time and space” by the painters Sheona Smith and Sheree Murphy. Inauguration of the joint exhibition “Tradition and abstraction” by Tomeu Bauçà and Sebastià Bauçà.
Sunday 23rd April. 8:00h. Inauguration of the XLI Fira de Santa Eugènia.
