ParcBit, the main innovation centre in the Balearic Islands, is celebrating its 20th anniversary on Wednesday 19 October. To commemorate it, it has scheduled an open day with the participation of numerous companies and organisations. The aim of this initiative is to make itself known to society and at the same time strengthen the community of professionals, entrepreneurs and users of ParcBit.

From 9:00, thirteen companies will open their doors so that anyone can visit them. Some of these companies are OmniAccess, a world leader in offering internet via satellite to large yachts; Estel, a leading engineering and construction company; Logitravel, a well-known Mallorcan company in the travel sector; and APSL, a custom development company. Visitors will be able to learn first-hand about the activities of these leading companies in their respective sectors, discover their products and services, get to know their teams, offices and their contribution to society.

From midday until 20:00, outside the Edifici Disset, there will be a popular lunch with performances by One Man Rocks and Circ Bover. There will also be musical entertainment, provided by the company 3digits; and a chill-out area and DJs to end the party, provided by Logitravel.

Attendees will also be able to participate in a raffle with numerous gifts, such as an electric scooter, a gift from MN Studios; tourist experiences and excursions around the island, provided by the company TUI; and hotel vouchers courtesy of GSBIT.

More than a hundred people have already confirmed their attendance at the ParcBit open day, which still has some sessions available for those who want to get to know its companies, and which can be consulted along with the rest of the programme at:
