PalmaFolk 2023 returns between February 17th and May 5th in different spaces in Palma with great artists from the Balearic Islands and the international scene

The traditional music festival PalmaFolk 2023 will once again meet with fans between February 17th and May 5th in different spaces in the capital of Mallorca. As a novelty this year, the return to the stages of BOC and Victorí Planells, former member of the mythical Ibizan group UC, stands out. In addition, the festival will give the opportunity to learn about the SIMONE project. With this, we will immerse ourselves in the popular musics of Argentina, from a cutting-edge sound.

From February 17th to May 5th

PalmaFolk starts on February 17th at the Mar i Terra Municipal Theater with a concert of Victorí Planells’ return to the stages, former member of the mythical Ibizan group UC. Planells will share the bill with the Entreveus female trio, dedicated to the popular song of Mallorca.

On the other hand, the BOC group stars in another of the expected returns, overcoming the death of Lluís Vivern “Vivi”, with a great concert at Ses Voltes, accompanied by the artists of Felanitx Do Natural, on March 22nd. BOC is a musical project impregnated with musics from the world and traditional rhythms that mixes the classical base of counterpoint and harmony with a significant influence from hardcore, new age, metal or ska.

International scene artists

We can’t forget about SIMONE, the international proposal that can be seen on March 10th at the Mar i Terra Municipal Theater. It is a musical project that travels through the soundscape of the Argentine territory.
