The XV Mostra de Mantances de Sineu 2022 will be held this Sunday 11 December as part of the Fira de Sant Tomàs. The municipality boasts tradition with the recreation of the typical slaughter of this period. There will also be a photographic exhibition of the slaughter and a tasting of fried sobrassada and wine.

Other activities scheduled for the 15th Mostra de Matances de Sineu include a workshop on how to make a slingshot, an apprenticeship in throwing and a competition open to the public – starting at 10:00 am. Dance performance by the Copeo de Sineu group – at 11:00-. Fat pig competition -at 12:00-. Dance exhibition by the Brote group from Alfabaguera -at 12:00-. Exhibition by the Can Ratero, Can Mè and Can de Ganado clubs and hunting exhibition organised by the Sineu hunting society.

This Fira de Sant Tomàs and Mostra de Matances 2022 will also feature the III Concurso de Pinta Balear i colom Gavatxut Balear Gavatxut Balear and the II Concurso Monográfico de colom de Casta Grossa. The International Hen Show, exhibition and sale of animals, exhibition and sale of crafts, decoration and Christmas products, as well as a parade of giants and xeremies complete the programme.

Another of the great attractions of the Fira de Sant Tomàs and the Mostra de Matances de Sineu 2022 is the tasting of slaughter dishes. You will be able to taste the products in different restaurants in the municipality.
