The Fira del Llonguet 2026 returns to the neighbourhood of es Pil·larí this Sunday 26 April for its tenth edition, one of the most recognisable popular events in Palma’s festive calendar. Throughout the day, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy an event that combines local gastronomy, crafts and a wide-ranging programme of activities.
The event, which attracts thousands of visitors every year, will run from 9:00 h to 17:00 h, with an official opening scheduled for early in the morning and a continuous programme that will fill the streets of the neighbourhood with a festive atmosphere. The fair puts the spotlight on the llonguet, one of the most emblematic products of Palma’s baking tradition and closely linked to the city’s identity, making it the star of a day designed for all ages.

In gastronomic terms, the fair will feature 20 llonguet sales points, including bakeries, pastry shops, local businesses and food trucks, offering different versions of this classic product. There will also be a showcooking session by the ASCAIB chefs’ association, and one of the most eagerly awaited moments will once again be the best llonguet competition, which each year brings together professionals from the sector and curious visitors alike.
Crafts and local produce
In addition, nearly 60 artisans from across Mallorca will take part, with products ranging from pastries and honey to jewellery, painting and handicrafts, many of them covered by labels such as the Denominació d’Origen or the Indicació Geogràfica Protegida de les Illes Balears.
The programme is rounded off with a wide range of activities for all audiences that will continue throughout the day:
- Children’s entertainment
- Workshops
- Circus performances
- Street parades and brass bands
- Children’s play area
- Prize draws
- Afternoon social gathering
