John Newman and Rudimental DJ will headline the main concert of the Festes de la Patrona de Palma 2026 (Palma Patron Saint Festivities 2026), which will take place on Saturday 5 September at Parc de la Mar. The event will be free and will also feature Freenipples, Lady Gosya, Álex Losa and Isaac Indart.

The event, called Patrona, will begin at 19:00 and run until 02:00. The concert forms part of the festivities honouring the Mare de Déu de la Salut (Virgin of Health), Palma’s patron saint alongside Sant Sebastià.

Concert Mare de Déu de la Salut 2025

Palma City Council launched this major musical event as part of the celebrations last year. Its first edition attracted more than 32,000 people to the area around Parc de la Mar.

John Newman and Rudimental DJ headline the line-up

British singer John Newman will arrive in Palma with a career marked by international hits such as Love Me Again and Feel the Love. His music combines pop, soul and R&B with elements of electronic music.

Newman has performed at festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella, Tomorrowland and Reading & Leeds. He has also received accolades including BMI London Awards and a UK Music Video Award.

The other major name on the bill is Rudimental DJ, featuring Piers Agget and DJ Locksmith (Leon Rolle). Their music blends drum and bass, soul, house, garage and pop.

The British act has performed at festivals including Glastonbury, Sónar, Reading & Leeds and Arenal Sound. Their career also includes accolades such as a Brit Award and a MOBO Award.

Four artists linked to the Balearic music scene

The Patrona de Palma 2026 concert will also feature Freenipples, Lady Gosya, Álex Losa and Isaac Indart.

Isaac Indart has almost 30 years of experience as a DJ and producer on Mallorca’s electronic music scene. Álex Losa, founder of Mørk, was named Best Techno DJ at the 2025 MEM Awards.

Mara Escrich, known artistically as Freenipples, combines indie pop, garage rock and electronic music. She has performed at events including Sonorama Ribera and Benidorm Fest.

Completing the line-up is Lady Gosya, a Ukrainian-born pianist and DJ based in Mallorca.

Passeig Marítim to close to traffic again

The concert will repeat one of the most notable features of the first edition. The six lanes of Passeig Marítim will be closed to traffic to provide more space for the public around Parc de la Mar.

This year’s event will also run later, until 02:00. The stage will be 18 metres wide and 12 metres deep, with 240 square metres of screens.

The venue will have bars, food trucks and an accessible viewing platform for people with reduced mobility. For safety reasons, glass containers will not be permitted. Palma City Council will also reinforce mobility, cleaning and security services.

The event will be organised by Grup Trui Mallorca SL. Palma City Council’s Governing Board has awarded the company the contract to organise the event for €242,000.
