If you like thrills or you prefer to have a good time with family and friends, don’t miss the return of the long-awaited Fira del Ram 2023: from 24 February to 16 April, at the Son Fusteret venue. Feria de Baleares makes it easy for you and this Saturday 25th February will be handing out 2×1 tickets during the Children’s Day of the Balearic Islands at Ses Voltes
When does the Fira del Ram 2023 open its doors?
The most important fair in the Balearic Islands and the third largest in Spain is scheduled to open to the public on Friday 24 February and close its doors on 16 April. It is one of the most eagerly awaited events on the island, attracting more than 20,000 visitors every weekend, especially aimed at families and the young and old at home. The Fira del Ram is a massive event in Mallorca that exceeded all expectations last year.
So much so, that this year around 200,000 people are expected to enjoy, among others, two new attractions: the Rocket and the Magic Cut.
The first attraction is a 60-metre high tower where you hang from harnesses and go up and down. The second is about cutting a rope to a giant stuffed animal. In addition, it is worth remembering that for three days (still to be specified and to be communicated by PIMEM) the facilities will operate without noise and with autistic people in mind.
A huge amusement park
The Fira del Ram 2023, the third most important in Spain after Seville and Valencia, has more than 170 attractions and booths, such as the huge Ferris wheel with its panoramic views of Palma or a roller coaster known as ‘Ratón’. There are also large classic rides for the more daring, such as the ‘V’, the Viking or Extreme and the traditional bumper cars, Ferris wheels and carousels; food and drink stalls and a multitude of entertainments that will ensure a day of fun and laughter.
Opening times:
- Monday to Thursday from 16.30h to 23.30h.
- Fridays from 16.30h to 01.00h.
- Saturdays and eves of public holidays from 11.00h to 01.00h.
- Sundays and public holidays from 11.00h to 01.00h.
How to get there by public transport?
- Line 10 of the EMT (Sa Indioteria) leaves you right in front of the fairgrounds.
- Metro from Plaza España in the direction of Son Fuster Vell.
Where to park
If you come by car, you will find two car parks. One, from Palma, and the other, from the motorway.
2×1 tickets on Saturday 25 February
Each attraction can cost between 3 and 5 euros per person. Due to the current inflation, there will be an increase in prices (30% according to the fairgrounds) because, according to the organisers, there has been a rise in transport costs and this will be reflected in the entrance fees. This will also be affected by the increase in the price of electricity, diesel and the travel costs of companies from abroad. According to PIMEM, “each fair organiser will set their prices according to their costs”.
But both the association and PIMEM have launched the 2×1 to motivate even more citizens to attend from Monday to Friday. The fairgrounds have announced that they plan to print some 500,000 2 for 1 tickets, 50,000 of which will go to PIMEM members. As every year, the fairgrounds are offering discounts on family packages and 2 for 1 tickets to attend during the week and on non-holiday days, as well as numerous raffles. The shops will do their utmost to ensure that these 2 for 1 tickets reach as many people as possible, the organisers have assured.
In fact, this Saturday, 25th February, Feria de Baleares will be handing out 2×1 tickets during the Children’s Day of the Balearic Islands.
- It will be at Ses Voltes, from 15:30h to 18:00h or while stocks last.
- Conditions:
- 5 tickets maximum per person or family.
- Avoid overcrowding.
- Follow the guidelines of the collaborators, we reserve the right not to carry out the delivery if they are not fulfilled.
- Tickets will be distributed until stocks last.
Feria de Baleares will continue to carry out more actions to make it easier for you to attend the Fair, which opens its doors on 24th February.
New features and other surprises
The Fira del Ram, organised by the management of PIMEM and the Union of Various Attractions Businesses of the Balearic Islands, employs around 80 families every year, 70% of whom come from abroad and 30% are residents of the Balearic Islands.
According to the PIMEM fairgrounds association, “the Palma fair is the only one that has its own territory, and this generates expenses amounting to some 400,000 euros, and in terms of security alone it mobilises some 700 people“.
This year it awaits you with a great variety of novelties and surprises that we will be updating you with here as well as through the Balearic Fair’s facebook page.
No te molestes. Me rayaron el coche en el aparcamiento porque no tenía cambio para pagar su raqueta.
Don’t bother. They scratched my car in the car park because I didn’t have change for paying their racket.
