The squall Juan is expected to reach the Balearic Islands this Friday and last until Saturday. In its path, it will leave rain, wind and a drop in temperatures, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

The probability of rain will intensify after 12:00 h this Friday – until then some weak and occasional rainfall is expected -, standing at between 95 and 100 % between midday and night. These rains, which could be accompanied by thunderstorms, are threatening the development of the Revetla de Sant Sebastià.

Temperatures will also be affected by squall Juan today. Highs will be around 16 degrees Celsius, while lows will be around 8 degrees Celsius. Temperatures will continue to fall on Saturday: the thermometer will move between 4 and 15 degrees Celsius. The probability of rain will remain very high (95 %) until 12 noon.

The north-easterly wind will also be present at the Revetla de Sant Sebastià. From midday onwards it will increase, with gusts of up to 30 km, which could rise to 50-60 km in the evening.
