The main representatives of the Spanish tourism sector will design strategies and address the challenges of the present and future of tourism at the XIX Congress of Spanish Hoteliers to be held between November 22 and 24 at the Palau de Congressos

Under the slogan ‘From more to better’ the main players in Spanish tourism will meet at the XIX Congress of Spanish Hoteliers on November 22, 23 and 24 at the Palau de Congressos de Palma.

Meeting point for the sector’s leading exponents

The Congress will bring together more than 450 entrepreneurs of tourist accommodations in our country, from owners and directors of both large chains with international presence and independent establishments. These will also include essential partners from the entire tourism value chain in the fields of technology, talent, human resources, risks, marketing, circularity and changes in consumer habits, new indicators that measure success. This was explained during the press conference held at the Son Bonet aerodrome. According to the organization, it is a symbolic enclave for its great historical relevance, since in 1947 it was the point of arrival of the first tourists to the island.

The presentation of the meeting was attended by the president of the Spanish Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodation (CEHAT), Jorge Marichal, and the president of the Hotel Business Federation of Mallorca (FEHM), María Frontera. The event was also attended by the Conseller insular de Turisme del Consell de Mallorca, Marcial Rodríguez; the general director of Tourism of the Conselleria de Turisme, Cultura i Esports del Govern de les Illes Balears, Pep Aloy; and the mayor of Palma, Jaime Martínez.
