More than 5,000 people will take part in the Pujada a Lluc a Peu de la Part Forana 2026 (Part Forana Walk to Lluc 2026), which will be held overnight from Saturday 12 to Sunday 13 September. The traditional walk reaches its 45th edition this year, with organised departures from numerous municipalities across Mallorca and the Santuari de Lluc as the destination.

The Consell de Mallorca and representatives from 45 municipalities have finalised coordination of the walk, particularly regarding safety, routes from each town and emergency plans. Each local council manages its own registrations and may set different departure times, meeting points and transport services for participants. Other municipalities, such as Manacor, have chosen to organise their Pujada a Lluc a Peu de la Part Forana 2026 independently.
The island’s Director for Strategic Projects and Institutional Relations, Maria Elena Jaume, described the Pujada as “a tradition that brings generations together and a true symbol of Mallorcan identity” and highlighted the Consell’s commitment to supporting the event each year.
