The Department of Sustainability and Environment of the Consell de Mallorca invites you to the Popular Walk from Estellencs to Puigpunyent, next Saturday 4th March
In this way, the Consell de Mallorca wants to celebrate with those who wish to do so the opening of the section between Estellencs and Coll de Estellencs of the Ruta de Pedra en Sec (GR-221). The excursion will be one-way, from Estellencs to Puigpunyent, and prior registration is required.
Duration and difficulty of the route
- Approximate duration: between 4 and 5 hours in total, one way, from Estellencs to Puigpunyent.
- Difficulty: medium.
- Requirements: you must be in good physical condition, wear comfortable and suitable footwear, warm clothes, mackintosh, windbreaker, water and food.
Public transport
For those who wish to use public transport, the Transport de les Illes Balears (TIB) bus lines that can be taken for this excursion are:
- Line 202: Estellencs- Palma
- Line 201: Galilea (Puigpunyent)- Palma.
Free coach service
According to the island institution, a free coach service will be provided for anyone who needs it. The coach will leave Palma at 8:30 am in the direction of Estellencs, and at 2:30 pm it will leave Puigpunyent in the direction of Palma.
- Meeting point, departure of the coach (8.30 am): behind the Ocimax cinemas in Palma (at the end of the excursion the coach will return us to the same place).
- Meeting point, start of the excursion (9.15 a.m.): near the ‘rentadors’ in Estellencs.
