A total of 20 beaches in Mallorca will carry the blue flag this season 2024, the same number as last year. This is a distinction awarded for guaranteeing criteria of environmental information and education, water quality, environmental management and safety and services. The project, developed by the Asociación De Educación Ambiental y del Consumidor (ADEAC), promotes the sustainable development of the coastline, establishing high standards in these criteria.

Santanyí, Felanitx and Palma are the municipalities with the most blue flags out of all the beaches recognised in Mallorca:

  • Alcúdia: Playa de Alcúdia.
  • Santanyí: Cala Mondragó (Sa Font de n’Alís), Cala Santanyí, S’Amarador.
