Queen Leticia’s first public appearance at a public event was last night at the closing gala of the 12th edition of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest 2022. The ceremony was held at La Misericòrdia on a very special evening. Her Majesty was in charge of presenting the Master of Cinema 2022 award to the actress Isabel Huppert. The French actress thanked the Queen for her support for the film industry.
The monarch landed yesterday afternoon to attend her cultural event, which she presided over with great elegance. It is the first public appearance on the island, marking the start of the Royal Family’s traditional summer stay in Mallorca.
There were moments that marked the gala, such as the Queen’s approach to Marina Abramovic and the surprising performance by Amaia, who won over the audience with her voice.
Other authorities posed at the photocall of this closing gala: Francina Armengol, President of the Government; Miquel Iceta, Minister of Culture; Catalina Cladera, President of the Consell de Mallorca; and José Hila, Mayor of Palma, attended the closing of the most important edition of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest held to date.
