Can Balaguer is hosting the Gaudí exhibition in Palma entitled “Gaudí and the 40 hours”. An exhibition that displays the discovery of two unknown tapestries by Antonio Gaudí in the monastery of Sant Jeroni in Palma. In addition to these two pieces, there is a tapestry that belonged to the collection of Mn. Guillem Puigserver Munar, a priest from Algaida.
The exhibition can be visited from 25th November 2022 to 28th February 2023. In addition, apart from these three pieces, other pieces belonging to the monastery’s collection will also be included, which will serve to contextualise the Gaudí project. The pieces that will make up the exhibition are all unpublished, so this is a great opportunity to get to know one more part of the religious heritage of the city of Palma.
Around the Gaudí in Palma exhibition there will be a series of lectures given by specialists. There will also be two Christmas itineraries, which will be completed with a visit to the convent, where visitors will be able to see an exhibition of part of its ceramic collection.
