The Beachvolley World Tour, one of the most important international events of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Circuit, returns to Mallorca after 15 years. The event, called Volley Beach Pro Tour Futures Mallorca, will be held between the 18th and 29th of October at the sports facilities of the Hotel Na Taconera, located in Font de Sa Cala (Capdepera).
More than 120 teams from countries all over the world will compete in the men’s and women’s categories. The women’s tournament will be held from the 18th to the 22nd of October, while the men’s tournament will be held from the 25th to the 29th of October. The Volley Beach Pro Tour Futures Mallorca is one of the three most important international beach volleyball sporting events today. Its celebration in Mallorca has generated great expectation, becoming in a matter of weeks the tournament in this category with the highest number of registrations in the world.
The last time the world tour visited the island was in 2008, when it was held in Palma. On this occasion, the event has the participation of the Capdepera Town Hall, the Balearic Beach Volleyball Federation, the Spanish Volleyball Federation and the Beachvolleybalear sports club.
