Álvaro Salazar, chef of the VORO restaurant, part of the Cap Vermell Group, continues to accumulate success in his professional career. The chef maintains his two Michelin stars, the first, achieved at the age of 29, and the second last year, at the helm of the VORO restaurant, located in the luxury hotel resort of Canyamel (Mallorca), the only one on the island with double distinction.
Álvaro Salazar points out that “VORO is a long-term project, where excellence marks our path” and confesses that “having two Michelin stars is a unique recognition for us, which places us among the elite of haute cuisine worldwide”.
The VORO chef wanted to mention the fact that the Balearic Islands have two new Michelin stars and that Mallorca has added the restaurant Fusión 19 to the prestigious guide, “it is a turning point in Balearic haute cuisine”.
“Now, with 11 Michelin stars on the islands, it improves the vision we can have to the outside world, of where tourism is heading and where we are directing gastronomy in the Balearics and in Mallorca specifically”, concludes the chef of the VORO restaurant, located in the Cap Vermell Grand Hotel.
