As is now a summer tradition, Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, hosted on Monday the official reception at Marivent Palace during their summer stay in Mallorca. Also attending the event were their daughters, the Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofía, along with Her Majesty Queen Sofía, in a gathering that brought together around 700 guests from various sectors and institutions of the Balearic Islands.
The Royal Reception at Marivent has become one of the most significant institutional events of the Mallorcan summer, reflecting the Crown’s commitment to gaining direct insight into the social, economic, and cultural reality of the Autonomous Communities.
Diverse Representation of Balearic Society
Among the guests at the reception were representatives of the Powers of the State, authorities from the Balearic Government, the Council of Mallorca, and the Palma City Council, as well as a broad representation of public and private entities from across the archipelago.
The event once again stood out for its inclusive and cross-sectoral nature, featuring the presence of professional associations, business and trade union organizations, foundations, civil associations, religious denominations, and professionals from diverse fields such as Healthcare, Culture, Architecture, Sports, Gastronomy, and Media.

The continuity of this event in the summer calendar strengthens the bond between the Royal Family and Balearic society, fostering a spirit of closeness and dialogue.
