The World Travel Awards will be held in Mallorca on Saturday 1st October. This is the first time that the island will host the awards ceremony, considered the ‘Oscars of tourism’. The newly opened Hilton Mallorca Galatzó will host the awards ceremony, which in 2022 will reach its 29th edition. The event will be attended by some of the most important personalities in the European tourism sector.
The World Travel Awards give recognition in more than a hundred categories of the industry. Hotels, destinations, airlines and travel agencies, among others, will receive awards at the gala to be held in Mallorca. Each of the mentions is a recognition of commitment to excellence and continuous efforts to improve customer service in the travel and tourism industry.
The final winners who will walk the red carpet to collect their awards in Mallorca are decided based on the votes of more than 200,000 industry professionals, plus the public who access the online voting system.
