With the aim of boosting the commercial fabric of Palma, the City Council is launching a campaign of 25,000 vouchers that will be available in November with a budget of 500,000 euros.

The citizen, resident or visitor of legal age may download up to a maximum of 6 vouchers of a value of 20 euros to exchange in the attached businesses. Each one is used for a minimum purchase of 35 euros. Once purchased on the web, they are valid for a maximum of 10 days.

You can use as many vouchers as you want for the same purchase, always respecting the rule of a minimum purchase voucher of € 35. For example, if you want to make a purchase for 70 euros you must use two vouchers.

How to enjoy vouchers

At the time of purchase, the benefit must be presented so that the merchant can validate it at the time of payment. The user simply must show the voucher and their ID.

The campaign will run until the vouchers are exhausted. The deadline is November 30.

The measure seeks to help one of the economic sectors hardest hit during the pandemic. The restrictions to stop contagion and the fall of the economy hurt local businesses with the closure of bars, bakeries and clothing stores, among other items.

The bases of the local initiative are already published in the BOIB. Those businesses that wish to join can do so until October 31 in PalmaActiva.

The councilor for Economic Promotion and Occupation, Rodrigo Romero, encouraged merchants to join. “It is a beneficial initiative both for people who will obtain significant savings and for businesses that will see how consumption is reactivated”.
