Running lovers are in luck. The Half Marathon Magaluf 2024, one of the oldest and most prestigious races in Spain, already has a date. It will be held on 20 April and promises, as in previous editions, an unforgettable sporting experience set in an emblematic area of the island of Mallorca.

The Half Marathon Magaluf, with more than 38 editions under its belt, offers two main races: a 21 km half marathon, which gives its name to the event, and a 10 km race. The minimum age to participate in the 21 km race is 18 years old, while in the 10 km race it is 16 years old (if the participant is a minor, he/she must carry the corresponding authorisation). The start of both races will be at 6pm at the Magalluf athletics track and prices range from €20 to €35, depending on the distance and date of registration.

The courses have been meticulously designed by local athletes to combine the beauty of the coastal scenery with urban and rural sections of Magaluf and Palmanova, offering runners a varied and exciting experience. With a mostly flat terrain, this sporting event not only stands out for its attractive challenge and breathtaking panoramic views, but also for its careful organisation, which covers all the necessary services for the runners, guaranteeing a smooth day.

In addition, for the youngest running enthusiasts, a children’s race will be organised the day before, called KIDS RUN, ensuring that the whole family can participate in this celebration of sport. The distances will be adapted to the age of the children and the proceeds of €1 per registration will be donated to charitable causes.

The Half Marathon Magaluf is possible thanks to the collaboration between the Fundación Calvià 2004, the Ajuntament de Calvià and the Institut Calvianer Esports Calvià. It also has the support of the Fundació Mallorca Turisme, which recognises the sporting and touristic value of this outstanding event.

    • 19.00 h: End of the race.

    • 0-4 years: 200 metres.
    • 5-6 years: 300 metres.
    • 7-8 years: 400 metres.
    • 9-12 years: 600 metres.
    • +13 years: 800 metres.
