Rels B is returning to perform in Palma. The most-streamed Spanish artist outside Spain will headline one of the major events of the Diada de Mallorca 2026 (Mallorca Day 2026). The Rels B concert in Palma will take place on 11 September at 21:30 at Parc de la Mar-Passeig Marítim and is free to attend.
The performance celebrates the Mallorcan singer being named Fill Predilecte de Mallorca (Favourite Son of Mallorca). The Consell de Mallorca and Palma City Council are jointly organising the event, which is open to everyone.
Daniel Heredia, known professionally as Rels B, will receive the distinction on 12 September, one day after the concert. It is one of the highest honours awarded by the Consell and forms part of the Honors i Distincions de Mallorca 2026 (Mallorca Honours and Distinctions 2026).
Rels B concert in Palma follows a historic year
The artist’s return to the island comes after achieving some of the biggest milestones of his career. In 2025, he performed in front of tens of thousands of people at Son Moix during his A New Star World Tour. It was his first stadium concert in Spain.
Last July, he brought the tour to a close with the biggest concert of his career, held at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid. His international success has made him the most-streamed Spanish artist outside Spain.
Mallorca also holds a prominent place in his music. Rels B has frequently celebrated his roots, and one of his most successful albums is entitled La Isla.
The president of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, says that Rels B “has taken the name of Mallorca around the world“. He also says that his return gives the public the opportunity to share in the recognition of him as Fill Predilecte.
The Rels B concert in Palma forms part of the Diada de Mallorca 2026 programme. The celebrations bring together cultural, institutional, sporting and traditional activities from 6 to 13 September. More information is available at this link.
