The free Rels B concert at Parc de la Mar will lead to major traffic restrictions and changes to bus services between Thursday 10 and Saturday 12 September. The main disruption will affect Avinguda Adolfo Suárez, which will be completely closed in both directions for several hours.
Palma Local Police and the Municipal Transport Company (EMT) have prepared a special operation for the Mallorcan singer’s performance at Parc de la Mar this Friday, 11 September. The traffic restrictions for the Rels B concert will also require the L25 bus route to be diverted and the L30 service to be temporarily suspended.
In addition, the right-hand lane of Avinguda Adolfo Suárez between Avinguda Gabriel Alomar and the entrance to the Parc de la Mar car park will remain closed until Saturday.
Traffic closure times in Palma
Avinguda Adolfo Suárez will be completely closed in both directions between Avinguda Gabriel Alomar and Avinguda Antoni Maura during the following periods:
- Thursday, 10 September: from 20:00 until 02:00 on Friday 11.
- Friday, 11 September: from 15:00 until 08:00 on Saturday 12.
During the same periods, the exit from the Parc de la Mar car park towards the motorway will also be closed.
Changes to the EMT L25 route
The restrictions will temporarily alter the route of the EMT L25 service towards Portopí. Buses will be diverted via Porta des Camp, Avingudes and Plaça de la Reina.
Stop 1982, Parc de la Mar-Catedral will also be out of service during the following periods:
- From 20:00 on Thursday 10 until 02:00 on Friday 11.
- From 15:00 on Friday 11 until 08:00 on Saturday 12.
L30 service to be suspended
The traffic restrictions for the Rels B concert will also affect the L30 service, which will be suspended during the closure periods on Avinguda Adolfo Suárez towards Portopí.
On Thursday 10, the last departure from Palau de Congressos will be at 19:31, while the last bus from Marivent will depart at 19:55.
The L30 will again be suspended from 15:00 on Friday 11 until 08:00 on Saturday 12.
