The summer season will start in two weeks and, despite the exceptional nature of this year, the beach clubs return to the Mallorcan scene. One of the first to open is Purobeach Palma, which returns this Thursday, June 4. “Everything is ready and has been beautifully displayed”, indicates its director, Facundo Allende, who adds that “the distance of two meters between each table has been respected, in addition to incorporating signs, gel and masks”.

This year, “we target the local public more than other years, with special prices and more accessible packages. The price of hammocks has been lowered and different gastronomic proposals have been incorporated, such as paella, which can be ordered 24 hours in advance”, says Allende. The goal is to attract residents and national tourists, since this year a smaller influx of international tourists is expected.

The staff has received training to adapt to the new regulations and they already have everything ready for the opening of the premises in Cala Estància, working from Thursdays to Sundays.

An oasis for those who love Mallorca

Mhares Sea Club, ‘an oasis created by Majorcans for those who love Mallorca’, starts the season on June 12, during the weekend, and from June 19 it will open every day. “We have a 1,800-square-meter terrace in an open space, which offers total tranquility to our clients,” says Cuca Berga, responsible for marketing and events. A privileged situation that “allows compliance with all Health protocols, which have been reinforced with the instructions of the company for the prevention of occupational hazards.”

Mhares is located in a privileged environment where Majorcan roots breathe. “This year, our outdoor facilities are a virtue“, adds the marketing manager of the Sea Club located between Maioris and Puigderrós. “We have created hammock and menu packages and we have daily menu again. Thus, the public has cheaper options, especially designed for the local and national public”, she concludes.

Anima Beach Club also reopens on June 12, next to the Can Pere Antoni beach in Palma. “We have adapted to current legislation and will avoid overflowing with people with protocols that we already had, such as the reception upon arrival of the client, whose entry is allowed according to the arrangement of the tables,” says Julio Quintanilla, one of its managers.

With the opening of the beach clubs and the good weather, which we are already enjoying, the island is immersed in a new summer season that this year focuses on the local and peninsular tourist. Its facilities, surroundings and privileged location by the sea are the perfect cocktail to escape this summer and enjoy the free time in Mallorca.
