The Palma Local Police have intensified their vigilance measures this weekend to deal with conflicts that have taken place on the public thoroughfare and to guarantee the rest of residents in areas such as Palma’s Paseo Marítimo. Specifically between numbers 1 and 17, the agents have intervened to prevent fights and have assisted some people with symptoms of drunkenness.

The operation deployed in this area also focused on preventing different groups from different pubs from coinciding in the street, in order to minimise noise in the public thoroughfare. Officers also processed complaints for road safety offences and one for violation of municipal by-laws.

In the vicinity of the Parc de la Mar, the Local Police carried out an operation against street vending in which 47 containers of drinks, 8 bags and 67 articles of different kinds were confiscated.
