The Palma International Boat Show 2025 (PIBS), held from 30 April to 3 May, generated an economic impact of €21 million, a 4.5% increase compared to 2024. The fair, organised by the Conselleria de Empresa, Autònoms i Energia, through ADR Balears, and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association, attracted more than 30,000 visitors and 300 participating companies. The next edition of PIBS will take place from 29 April to 2 May 2026 at El Moll Vell in Palma.

The direct impact of the fair reached €14.2 million, a 4.8% increase compared to the previous year. This figure includes the spending of visitors who travel specifically to attend the event, the consumption of residents, and the expenditures of participating companies.

More than 30,000 people attended PIBS, a 7.3% increase from 2024, generating €13.3 million. The fair consolidates its position as the start of the Mediterranean boating season, attracting shipyards that present unique and large-scale models.

PIBS also boosted off-season tourism: nearly 7,000 tourists visited the fair during the low season, contributing over €7.5 million to the Balearic economy. Additionally, 23,200 residents took part in the event, generating an impact of more than €1 million.
Exhibitors and the nautical sector
The fair featured 300 exhibitors, representing a wide cross-section of the nautical industrial sector. Their participation generated an economic impact of €7.7 million, significantly contributing to the dynamism of shipyards, suppliers, and related services. Exhibitor satisfaction was notable, with 96.2% indicating they will return for the next edition, reflecting the recognition of the fair as a key event for showcasing innovations, attracting clients, and consolidating business relationships within the nautical sector.
