The municipal company Emaya has reached historic figures in the removal of graffiti in Palma during the first six months of 2025. Between January and June, 5,425 interventions were carried out, surpassing the total annual figures of 2022 (5,198) and 2023 (5,294), and coming very close to the full-year total of 2024 (5,820).
One of the main focuses of these actions has been street furniture, where 2,362 graffiti removals have been recorded so far in 2025. This figure improves upon results from the same period in previous years: 2,114 in 2024, 1,972 in 2023, and 2,180 in 2022.
In the public thoroughfare—streets, squares and avenues—Emaya has removed 343 graffiti tags, clearly surpassing the data from 2024 (244), 2023 (286), and 2022 (208).
