The State Meteorological Agency of the Balearic Islands (Aemet) has informed that the warnings for high temperatures will be maintained at least until Friday on the islands.
Stretched skies and high temperatures are forecast for Wednesday. The Aemet points out that today, together with yesterday, brings the hottest days to the islands, with maximum temperatures that may rise and reach 38ºC or 39ºC.
The yellow alert for high temperatures activated on Tuesday continues and could be extended to the rest of the islands. Temperatures will remain high until Friday, reaching 38ºC. Likewise, night temperatures will also be high and will place the thermometers between 22ºC and 25ºC, which will continue to bring torrid nights in the Balearic Islands.
On Saturday the first high clouds may appear
According to the Aemet, on Saturday afternoon the first high clouds could appear due to the cold front approaching the Peninsula. And finally, from Sunday or Monday is when there is a greater likelihood of some storms and rainfall in the archipelago.
