The courtyard of the Pollença City Council becomes one more year the epicenter of architecture in the Balearic Islands with the celebration of the Setmana d’Arquitectura i Disseny Club Pollença. Its eighth edition will take place from August 16 to 18 and will bring together six local, national and international professionals and studios that are developing or have developed relevant projects in the Balearic Islands.

Plaça de Sencelles –by Moneo Brock–, Camper’s project for the Gomila area –by MVRDV–, the Ibavi Ca’n Ribes houses in La Soledad –by DATAAE–, PAC Pollença –by Carles Enrich Studio–, the Arimunani school –by Aulets–, and the work of Henri Quillé in Formentera –explained by Guillem Aloy– will be the nucleus of the six conferences in this new edition of the Setmana d’Arquitectura i Disseny Club Pollença. The six guests will also talk about other of their projects, their philosophy, sustainability, research, teaching, materials, awards, and even travel.

Due to the limited capacity of the Pollença City Council courtyard, and to guarantee all security measures, it is necessary to reserve tickets to confirm attendance (one form per attendee). Some places will also be reserved for people entering the door. The Setmana d’Arquitectura i Disseny Club Pollença is organized by the Pollença Club and is sponsored by Colonya, the Guillem Cifre Foundation and with the collaboration of the Pollença Town Hall.
