The Cartuja gardens will host Valldemossa Mercat d’Art 2021 on Saturday 21 August. This is the first edition of this artistic ‘pop up’, which will take place from 10 am to 10 pm. For its premiere, the organizers have chosen the emblematic gardens of the Mallorcan municipality.
After passing through Palma, Sa Rápita and Pollensa, this new edition in Valldemossa will be attended by numerous artists. Alex Ceball, Victoria García Masdeu, Aina Velasco Borrás, Alberto Diego, Barbara Viel, Josep Bauzá, Katrin Starostenko, Malú Matteo, Marc Vidal, María Estelrich, Cianotipas, María Morell, Pablo Pelluz, Reyes Marfil and Teresa Ruiz de Lobera will be present at the Valldemossa Mercat d’Art 2021.
Exhibition”Tramuntana”
During the day and in parallel, a selection of artists will present the exhibition “Tramuntana” at the Coll Bardolet Foundation (Vía Blanquerna 4, Valldemosa). In it, works inspired by the Serra de la Tramuntana, in the municipality of Valldemossa and in the universe of the painter Josep Coll Bardolet will be exhibited. The organization will be accompanied by some invited institutions such as the Palma Aquarium Foundation for marine conservation and the Mar de Fondo environmental protection project. Likewise, the Valldemossa Mercat d’Art 2021 is supported by the Valldemossa City Council, the Knack Art artist platform, Espai Sant Marc and the Coll Bardolet Foundation.
