Palma-born actress Vicky Luengo, who was on the cover of the spring-summer 2022 edition of Mallorca Global Mag, picked up the Gaudí Award for Best Female Lead this Sunday for her role in “Suro”, Mikel Gurrea’s debut film. The film tells the story of how a couple of urbanites (Luengo and Pol López) venture to try their luck in the countryside.
Presenter and model Martina Klein and actor Miki Esparbé presented the award to the actress, who acknowledged that it was “a tough shoot” because it coincided with a complicated personal moment for her. In her speech, Luengo thanked the crew and director for their support.
