Mallorca Caprice is looking forward to seeing all the award-winning films in this year’s Oscar edition. Surely the big cinemas will be showing the most awarded films so that we don’t miss any.

The South Korean film Parasites took four statuettes last night and made history. Joaquin Phoenix, meanwhile, received the statuette of best actor; while Renée Zellweger picked up the best actress excited for her role as Judy Garland in the feature film Judy.

Brad Pitt also starred in the gala by taking the statuette as best supporting actor in the movie Joker, a distinction he dedicated to his children. Laura Dern also received the best supporting actress for her role in Marriage Story.

Bong Joon-Ho was, without a doubt, the big star of the night at the Dolby Theather in Hollywood for his work Parasites. Not only did he get the best director award, but he also won the statuette for best film, foreign film and best original screenplay. In his thank-you speech, he gave the audience the following words: “When I was young and I was studying cinema, there was a saying that remained engraved in the heart: ‘The most personal is the most creative’. This phrase is from the great Martin Scorsese who just stole the Oscar. ” In addition, he added, “if the Academy left me, I would like to cut the Oscar and share it with you.”

In the animation genre Toy Story 4 he took the award from the Spanish Klaus, a film that has already made history by winning the Bafta. And what do you think of the great night of Hollywood? Have your forecasts been fulfilled?
