For some years now, artistic expressions can be seen in the streets of the city that make passers-by happy and that have little or nothing to do with the famous vandalism graffiti that dirties the aesthetics of the cities.

The so-called street art, led by international figures such as Banksy, John Fekner or Shepard Fairey, can also be seen on Palma’s promenades, avenues and alleys. Sometimes on its walls; other times on barriers, doors or facades.

Local artists such as SOMA or Joan Aguiló use public spaces, generally in a state of abandonment, to make cities more pleasant and inhabitable. Some historically degraded neighbourhoods such as La Gerreria or La Soledat have become great canvases with messages that appeal directly to the social conscience.

From Mallorca Caprice we invite you to take a tour of some of the most striking works in the historical centre of the city. Some of them could be ephemeral so we recommend you to come and see them as soon as possible.
