Celebrations and festivities continue in August in Mallorca, spread throughout the length and breadth of the island. Tradition and current events are mixed in the program of the different municipalities of the island that still have activities for the whole family during this weekend and the month of September

Fiestas de Sant Agustí in Felanitx

Until September 30, the municipality of Llevant de Mallorca celebrates its popular patron saint festivities with a rich program that you can consult on the website of the Town Hall.

  • Saturday, August 26th

  • XIX Sant Salvador car race. Training from 8:45 am and then race. Road closure at 7:00 h. Place: Puig de Sant Salvador.
  • Ajuntament de Felanitx Vall d’Or Golf Trophy. 9:30h. Place: Vall d’Or Golf. Hunting course competition. Shooting competition against projected targets. Only federated hunters can participate. All day long. Place: Son Mesquida.
  • Presentation of Les cares de la cugula by Miquel Àngel Adrover, poetry prize Miquel Bauçà 2023. Speakers: Miquel Àngel Adrover, Glòria Julià, Pau Vadell, Miquel Servera and Annabel Villalonga. 19:00h. Place: Hospici de Felanitx.
  • Correfoc. By Espiadimonis, Dimonis a Lloure, Guardians de Drac de Sant Jordi, Bocs i Focs, Dimonis de Fang i Capocorb. 22:00h. Route: Plaça Santa Margalida, carrer Major, carrer Miquel Bordoy, plaça Pax, carrer Bellpuig and passeig Joan Estelrich.
  • Verbena. Na Pipona, Don Patricio, Foranom and DJ Son Estiercol. 23:00h. Place: Parc Municipal de sa Torre de Felanitx. Free admission. Doors open at 19h

  • Sunday, August 27th

  • X Fira nocturna de Sant Agustí and street gastronomy with food trucks. 18:00 h. Place: Passeig Ramon Llull.
  • Cercavila through the streets of Felanitx. With cavallets, dimonis and caparrots. 19:00 h. Place: departure and first dance at the Casa de Cultura.
  • Completes de Sant Agustí. Sung by the Felanitx Choir. 22:00h. Place: Convent of Sant Agustí de Felanitx. Afterwards, procession in the plaça d’es Convent with the participation of the cavallets and concert by the Felanitx Music Band in the same plaça d’es Convent.
  • Ballada popular. With the groups S’Estol Des Gerricó and Agrupació Abeniara. Place: Passeig Ramon Llull. From 10:30 pm. Afterwards, fireworks.

  • Concert of the Lluna en Vers. Performance by Tesa & Jonatan Penalba. Ticket sale at www.lallunaenvers.cat. Discount for residents. 21:00 h. Place: Consolació.
  • Great night party. With the performances of : Anegats, Sonats, Dj Crítiques, Dj Miki&Karls at midnight in the Plaça de la Constitució.

  • Sunday, August 27th

  • Performance by the Colla castellera dels Al-lots de Llevant. 19:00 h. Place: Plaça des Centro.
  • Ballada popular with Aires de Pagesia. 21:30 h. Place: Plaça de la Constitució.

Festes in Ses Salines

Its summer festivities last until September.

  • Saturday, August 26th

  • XXIV Festa del Cavall de Ses Salines. Traditional festival of the municipality. The first toc de flabiol will be in front of the Town Hall, where the replec will begin. End of party with music. 20:00 h. Place: Plaça de Sant Bartomeu
