The municipalities of the Balearic Islands that accumulate the most infections by COVID-19 are Palma, Eivissa and Calvià and there are eight municipalities that have more than 5,000 confirmed cases, according to data from the COVID Viewer offered this Tuesday by the Ministry of Health and Consum.

The information, cited by Europa Press, indicates that Palma has 71,996 and Eivissa, 13,424. Next, by number of infections, are Calvià (7,038), Santa Eulària des Riu (6,734), Manacor (6,336), Marratxí (5,740), Sant Antony de Portmany (5,216) and Inca (5,059).

The municipalities with the fewest cases, less than 100, are Deià (51), Estellencs (46), Banyalbufar (43), Fornalutx (42) and Escorca (9). As for the cumulative incidence at 14 days, it rises to 3,143 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The figure for Mallorca stands at 2,980, Menorca at 3,558, Ibiza at 3,944 and Formentera at 2,074.
