Last November, 299 companies were created in the Balearic Islands, 39.1% more than in 2020, and 79 were dissolved, 2.6% more than in the same period, according to data provided by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).

The autonomous communities with the highest number of commercial companies created in November are Comunidad de Madrid (1,852), Cataluña (1,560) and Andalucía (1,552). On the contrary, those that have created the fewest companies are La Rioja (48), Comunidad Foral de Navarra (64) and Cantabria (74).

In terms of dissolved commercial companies, those with the highest number are Comunidad de Madrid (704), Andalucía (319) and Comunitat Valenciana (187). On the other hand, those with the fewest dissolved companies are Comunidad Foral de Navarra (four), La Rioja (15) and Cantabria (21).

At the national level, 8,177 commercial companies were created in November, 11.4% more than in the same month of 2020. The capital subscribed for their constitution exceeds 629 million euros, with an annual increase of 71.3%. The average capital subscribed (77,029 euros) rose by 53.8%.

On the other hand, 2,327 commercial companies increased their capital in November, 14.1% more than in the same month of 2020. The capital subscribed in the increases registered an increase of 9.7% and exceeded 2,007 million euros. The average capital subscribed in these operations (862,740 euros) increased by 66.2% in the annual rate.

The number of commercial companies dissolved in November is 2,130, 3.3% more than in the same month of 2020. Of these, 79.3% did so voluntarily, 12.5% ​​by merger and 8.2 Remaining % due to other causes.
