The Balearic Association of Family Businesses (ABEF), which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2024, has commissioned the agency Mallorca Global, marketing and communication workshop to create a commemorative book for this significant milestone. The book, with its luxury binding, chronicles the 25 years of history of the ABEF, from its founding to the present day. Its pages highlight the association’s most important achievements and its impact on the economy and society of the Balearic Islands, which has led the association to become a leading figure for family businesses in the region.

Through interviews, testimonies, and accounts from key figures who have led the association, the book offers a comprehensive view of how the organisation has solidified. It also includes a special section, the largest in the volume, dedicated to reviewing the history of the member companies, with images from both the past and present, allowing readers to explore an interesting and detailed historical period alongside the different family generations who have managed these businesses.

In the chapter titled “The Legacy of ABEF”, the main initiatives and projects driven by the organisation are highlighted, from training programmes to charitable campaigns, among others.

The content of the book not only offers a detailed chronicle of the ABEF and its milestones over the 25 years but also reviews the significant changes experienced by Balearic society during this period in various areas, including demography, social structure, family, tourism, business, and sport.

The agency Mallorca Global has stamped its mark on every page, working closely with ABEF to graphically and visually portray the evolution of the association and its members. Their work not only involved gathering historical information and organising and producing content, but also creating an attractive design that accompanies the narration of the achievements reached, with the aim of conveying the spirit of collaboration and growth that has characterised these 25 years.
