The Institut Balear de la Natura (IBANAT) reopens eight of its thirteen shelters with furniture reforms, more comfort for tourists and greater efficiency in the use of energy after the closure forced by the pandemic.
These shelters, located in natural settings on the island, already accept reservations, except those of S’Arenalet d’Aubarca and Son Moragues, which are still closed for renovations.
The Binifaldó shelter reopens again with a capacity for 20 people. For its part, that of the Cabrera National Park increases the number of places available to 12.
Alzina and Casa dels Oguers, with a capacity of 10 people, allow the accommodation of non-cohabiting groups, until now restricted to a single cohabiting group, although these shelters require a complete reservation.
Reservations can be made through the website of the Instituto Balear de la Natura. In all requests, you will have to sign a declaration responsible for compliance with health regulations during the stay.
