The Hilton chain has confirmed that it will return to Mallorca next summer under the Hilton Hotels & Resorts insignia on the Costa de la Calma after sealing an agreement with Galatzó Inversiones S.L., the company that will manage the new hotel complex.

The 208-room hotel is situated in an environment surrounded by 54,000 m2 of perfectly designed gardens and incorporates three swimming pools with two bars. The hotel lobby will also have a bar that will open onto an outdoor terrace, and clients will be able to enjoy a wide variety of culinary alternatives.

The Hilton Mallorca Galatzó, which marks the return of the chain to the island -before it was present with the Hilton Sa Torre-, will offer 1,000 m2 of meeting rooms and spaces for events, the largest of which will accommodate 390 guests. It will also have a spa, sauna, jacuzzi, sensory showers, gym and multiple tennis courts.

The establishment is located less than five minutes by car from the popular beaches of Paguera, and is close to the Santa Ponça and T Golfy golf courses in the city of Palma.

Patrick Fitzgibbon, Hilton’s senior vice president of development for Europe, Middle East and Africa, stated that “following our recent announcements in Crete, Rijeka, Santorini and Sardinia, Hilton Mallorca Galatzó is the latest in a series of spectacular resorts planned by the chain in the Mediterranean. As one of the most popular holiday destinations among European travelers, Mallorca is an ideal location for an international brand such as Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and we are very pleased to collaborate with Galatzo Inversiones, S.L. ahead of the opening of this hotel next year ”.

For his part, Carlos Martins, CEO of Galatzó Inversiones, SL, has stated that he looks forward to “being able to welcome the clients of the new Hilton Mallorca Galatzó next year, after a substantial renovation that improves the facilities and interior decoration of the establishment ”.

The Hilton Mallorca Galatzó is the latest hotel in the growing portfolio of properties that Hilton projects in Spain, including three openings in the last twelve months, and a total of 23 hotels corresponding to 9 brands already operating or under development in 16 destinations throughout the country.
