TaPalma 2022, the tapas and cocktail competition and route, now has its winners. The winner of this year’s edition was chef Tito Verger, from the Rosa del Mar restaurant, who won the TaPalma de Oro for the second year running for his creation Pulguita de Otoño.

In the same category, second place went to Albert Martín, from the Arume Sake Bar restaurant, who presented the jury with the tapa “Ca l’Amar”. Finally, the bronze medal went to Jaume Comas of Cor Barra i Taula, who presented the tapa “Otoño”.

In the Themed Tapas category, this year featuring sobrassada from Mallorca, the restaurant Los Maños, run by chef Andrés Moreno, won gold with its “Panellet de Sobrassada”. The silver in this category went to Enrique Erazo, from the restaurant Tasca y Arroces El Puente, with “Crujiente de Manzana Mar y Tierra” and, in third place, the bronze went to Luis Trives from the restaurant La Moderna for his creation “Coulant de Sobrassada”.

Best cocktails 2022

As for the cocktail competition, the winner of the Gold Cocktail was Maygret Molina from Weyler Bonaire for his cocktail “La Manzana de Ortiz”. The silver went to Fernando Calderón of Katagi Blau with “TaPalma – Ito”. The bronze went to Davide Fiore, bartender at Xalest Restuarant, for his creation “Nirvana”.

Two runners-up prizes were also awarded, one for the best tapa paired with Mahou, which went to the Shaka restaurant for its tapa “Xocolata amb Xurros”, and the other for the best tapa made with Oli de Mallorca, which went to the Maleva restaurant for its tapa “Terra”.

All the tapas and cocktails participating in TaPalma 2022 can be tasted on the route that begins this Wednesday 23rd until Sunday 27th November, in which a total of 46 establishments are taking part.
