From today until 6th October, spectators can enjoy the ‘Film Party’, with tickets at €3.5 at different cinemas on the island: Cinesa Festival Park, Ocimax Palma Aficine, Rívoli Aficine, Manacor Aficine, Artisiete Fan, CineCiutat, Augusta Aficine and OCINE Premium Porto Pi.
To benefit from the discount, it is necessary to register beforehand on the website www.fiestadelcine.com by filling in a form (over 60s and under 14s are exempt). Tickets can be purchased in advance on the ticket sales platforms and, from the first day, also at the box office. It is only possible to purchase one ticket per accreditation, person and session. In addition, ID and accreditation must be presented at the box office.
Recommended films
Although spectators will be able to see all the films currently showing in the participating cinemas, the organisers of the ‘Film Party’ have made a selection of recommended films, including recent releases.
This initiative, organised by the Federación de Distribuidores Cinematográficos, the Federación de Cines de España and the Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales, aims to give a boost to the sector at a time when cinema attendance is down compared to pre-pandemic figures.
