Santanyí is celebrating its Vila de Santanyí 2023 International Music Festival. This year, the Town Hall has made an effort to offer a great programme of high-level concerts. The event will feature the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands and international figures such as the mezzo-sopranos Maria José Montiel and Sandra Ferrández, the violinist Vasco Vassilev, the Italian organist Paolo Crivellaro, the young Italian organist Paolo Crivellaro
Paolo Crivellaro, the young flautist Rafael Adobas. Local artists such as Catalina Roig and Rafael González, among others, will also be featured.

Santanyí Festival concert programme

The concert by Paolo Crivellaro (organ) on the 6th of May served as the starting point for this Festival Internacional de Música Vila de Santanyí. The following performances will take place in June, July, August and September.

  • 11th June, Sunday: Catalina Roig (flute), Rafael González (piano). At 20:00 in the church of s’Alqueria Blanca.
  • 1st July, Saturday: Sandra Ferrández (mezzo-soprano) and Orquesta del Festival de Santanyí. Conductor: Vicent Balaguer. At 22:00 in Caló den Busques, Cala Figuera.
  • 19th August, Saturday: María José Montiel (mezzo-soprano), Vasko Vassilev (violin), Miquel Estelrich (piano). At 21:00 in Es fortí de Cala d’Or.
  • 23rd September, Saturday: Rafael Adobas (flute), Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands, Pablo Mielgo (conductor). At 21:00 in the church of Sant Andreu in Santanyí.
