The Government Council has approved asking the Superior Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands for the approval to apply a new framework of temporary and exceptional measures in the field of activity of certain establishments, depending on the level of health alert of the island in that are filed for the containment of COVID-19.

The approved agreement also provides that, should the epidemiological situation go to level 2, it would include tourist accommodation where guests share a room (hostels, hostels, shelters, etc.). In addition, at level 3, it would also apply to cinemas, tent circuses, dance academies or gyms.

Right now, according to the last revision of levels on November 22, all the Balearic Islands are at level 1, but it must be noted that this will be revised on Friday, December 3 and that it may change depending on the criteria sanitary.
